How Can Jesus Help Us Transform Our Lives?

Updated: Jun 26

Jesus is the way, life, and truth; only through his blessings can we be contended and Jesus help us transform our lives.

You must have heard it; life is a journey! We all face problems, need help, and often want to give up. What’s the point of living? Have you ever thought about quitting? When you feel like you have had enough.

Jesus wants to help you!

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.” (John 14:6)

What Do I Do?

Change is not always easy, but being a true Christian requires change. We can expect different results if we are unwilling to give up some bad habits and adopt some good ones. There are probably many people claiming to be Christian, but you will hardly find anyone adhering to the Christian lifestyle.

You heard me right! Being a Christian is a lifestyle, and if you are not willing to make necessary changes in your life, you might as well find it hard. You will feel it is not working because you are not putting effort into making a real change.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you and uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41: 10)

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

It is not enough to say you are a believer. Your lifestyle should reflect your belief in God and that you follow Jesus.

Invoke God with a humble heart. Declare your dependence on Him. Recognize Him as your Shepherd, from whom you have wandered.

In my capacity as the Just Judge of the Earth, whose rules you have disregarded. As the kind Savior, whose forgiveness and purification you sorely need, and as the Holy God, whom your sins have offended.

Jesus Transforms Our Minds

Do not think you will make it through this earthly and temporary life without Jesus as your guide. When you seek help in the name of Jesus, you are guided by the truth. You are responsible for your life; the troubles are just a consequence of bad decisions, following norms and cultural constructs that have no place in Christianity.

When you follow Jesus, it changes the way you think. You start using the word of God as a guide to make decisions and be thoughtful about what God would have us do.

Our actions are ultimately determined and guided by our thoughts, and Jesus helps renew our minds. You will start doing what is good, acceptable, and the perfect will of God.

Jesus Helps Us Find Our Weaknesses

Are you tired and want to give up? You hate your life and want to end it! I know it is hard, but it will only get harder if you don’t put your trust in Jesus. Anything is possible if you believe in Jesus.

The problem with us is we are so focused on circumstances that we forget to focus on God and our purpose.

“For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Jesus wants to give you eternal life in exchange for your worldly life. You don’t lose anything in this world by believing in Jesus. Don’t be doubtful; look around, and you will find that people who have committed to Jesus are living great lives.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (1Corinthians 5:17)

Jesus wants you to die to your sins and your old ways. You will bear a fresh start and a brand new life again.

Jesus Loves You

Unfortunately, we live in a very individualistic society. People are losing their connection with family and friends. Frankly speaking, we all feel lonely at some point. The corrupt society is diminishing our family values. It is hard to find a faithful person but do not lose hope; Jesus loves you beyond your imagination.

He died for you, he paid the penalty for your sins, and his blood shed on the cross protects you from God’s wrath and his righteous judgment that stands against the unbelievers.

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.” (Isaiah 53: 5, 6)

Jesus Transforms Our Purpose

One of the beautiful things about believers is that your purpose of living is transformed into something fulfilling. You do not only focus on making money or earning possessions. You develop a balance and harmony between your spirituality, mind, body, and emotions.

You become harmless and develop love and appreciation for God’s creation. Jesus can help you becomes contended with your life. You will live a life worth praising; all you have to do is to commit, say you believe in Jesus, the son of Marry, and your oath to follow his guidance in the holy book. You would never go astray and envy your life.

Spread the message of love, God’s Kingdom and Glory.

“We’re given the great commission to go into all the earth, make disciples, baptize them in the Name, and teach the commandments of Jesus.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
